Ontario Region’s Summer School and Women’s Summer School 2016

This summer, the Ontario Region of the Canadian Labour Congress will be hosting two week-long schools at the Unifor Family Education Centre in Port Elgin.

Ontario Region Summer School 2016 – July 3 – 8
The Ontario Region’s 2016 Summer School will be running from July 3 -8, 2016. Courses being offered include: Facing Management Effectively, ODRT Level IV (Return to Work), Labour Community Advocate Training Program: Level 1, Member Engagement – Member Action (New for 2016), Mental Health in the Workplace (New for 2016), Parliamentary Procedure and Public Speaking, Taking Unions to the Next Generation, and WHSC Instructor Training (Women ONLY).

Women’s Summer School 2016 – July 10 – 15
The Ontario Region’s 2016 Women’s Summer School will be held from July 10 – 15, 2016. Courses being offered include: Candidate Development for Women (New for 2016), Leading from Strength: Leadership Development for Indigenous and Women of Colour (New for 2016), Transforming Conflict for Women, Women in Leadership 1.0, WHSC Instructor Training, Women Work and Disability, and Sisters in the Struggle (ETFO Members Only).
