MEMBERS OF THE IAMAW WORKING FOR SERVISAIR IN CANADA

Assignments to Edmonton Dear Brothers and Sisters: Prior to the holidays, Servisair approached the IAMAW in Edmonton for permission to allow out-of-town help due to staff shortages during the holiday rush. There was an agreement made for limited out-of-town help to come in until January 3, 2013. dont do it!However, through the membership, the Union has come to find out that the Company has made plans to bring in extra staff without consultation. Management went directly to the membership making inflammatory statements that they are going to bring in staff whether we like it or not. Please be advised that, until further notice, we are strongly discouraging any member from taking an out-of-town assignment to Edmonton. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your solidarity and support at this time.
