It’s time to unite and rebuild IAM Local Lodge 16!
With the help of the Canadian Labour Congress (CLC), the IAM, Steelworkers and Teamsters have come to an agreement on representation! Each union will continue to represent only the members they currently have.
• The Teamsters have closed down their raid campaign!!
• They will NOT BE RETURNING TO YVR
• They will NOT BE FILING to represent YVR screeners on November 1st.
We still have important work to do – Negotiating a new contract with G4S. You can help by showing solidarity. We need to keep signing cards to demonstrate our solidarity to G4S. This helps us with our bargaining position if they see the screeners truly united.
