Filipino Lapu Lapu Day Block Party on Saturday, April 27 in Vancouver! It will be the first block party organized by the Filipino community and the largest festival in South Vancouver after Vaisaki!
There will be a focus on worker’s rights including a pop-up legal clinic by the Migrant Worker’s Centre for temporary foreign workers, and a number of unions are participating including the BC Federation of Labour, BCGEU, HEU, CUPE, SEIU Local 2, Liuna 1611 and others.
