Your vote for a #BetterBC
BC’s election will take place on October 24. Elections BC has been working hard to make sure British Columbians can vote in a variety of ways, in person or by mail. There are more ways to vote than ever – and more chances to vote early.
As a New Democrat, your vote will help ensure BC has a stable government that puts people first, through the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. Pledge to vote early and we’ll send you reminders on how to vote by mail or in advance polls.
This week, John Horgan has been calling New Democrat volunteers and donors to personally thank them for their support – and we’ve been sharing some of the funnest calls on social media.
What would you say if John called YOU? A bunch of volunteers and donors got surprise calls from the BC NDP leader. Visit John’s Facebook page to see how one first-time donor reacted.
The BC Liberals gutted our province’s long-term care system. That left some of BC’s most vulnerable people at serious risk when COVID-19 hit.
And that’s why the BC NDP has invested in long-term care, and recently announced funding to hire 2,000 new long-term care workers.
Our elders deserve to be safe and to age with dignity. If you support our plan to hire 2,000 more long-term care workers, add your name today.
People deserve same-day access to high-quality healthcare services close to home. That’s why investing in new healthcare facilities has always been a top priority for John Horgan’s team.
Last week, Adrian Dix announced the latest new facility – an urgent and primary care centre that will serve the Tri-Cities of Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, and Port Moody, starting in February 2021.
This was the 21st new urgent and primary care centre announced under the government’s primary care strategy.
