Tell the banks – enough is enough!

This week, I sent a letter to the heads of the country’s main banks and credit card companies.

I didn’t waste words. I told them they have a responsibility to bring down sky-high credit card interest rates – now.

And I know I’m not the only one who feels strongly about this. Please write to them now and tell them, enough is enough.

We’re in a global health crisis. Banks shouldn’t make profits off of our hardships.

This pandemic is making it hard to pay our bills and to take care of our loved ones. More and more people will rely on their credit cards to get them through this. Why should they pay high interest rates?

After all, the Bank of Canada brought down its lending rate. So why aren’t the big banks and credit card companies passing on those savings to those who need it?

They should.

Write to them now and let’s bring pressure on these folks to do the right thing.
