As of January 1, 2020, no British Columbians will have to pay any MSP premiums. This represents one of the biggest middle-class tax cuts in BC history.

Under the BC Liberals, MSP fees doubled – and Andrew Wilkinson won’t say what they would do about MSP premiums if they were back in government. Let the BC Liberals know you won’t go back to paying this unfair tax.

Everyone should have access to high-quality healthcare where they live. That’s why we’re investing in healthcare facilities across the province, and that’s why we just announced a new state-of-the-art hospital for the people of Surrey.

Our kids deserve to learn in a safe environment. And schools need resources to help at-risk students stay away from violence and crime. That’s why we’re expanding Erase (Expect Respect and a Safe Education) programs to combat gang and gun violence in schools.

Announcing funding for programs in Campbell River, Chilliwack, Courtenay, and Hope, Education Minister Rob Fleming said: “We are taking important action to support young people earlier and give parents, schools, and communities a way to work together towards positive futures.”

When John Horgan and the BC NDP formed government, there was a huge challenge ahead of us: 16 years of BC Liberal mismanagement wouldn’t be fixed overnight. As 2019 draws to a close, we’ve made good on three quarters of our campaign pledges.
