YVR NEGOTIATIONS UPDATE 

Dear Brother and Sisters,

The Negotiations Committee was at the Conciliators office with Swissport Handling Inc., on October 16,17,18, 2018, to discuss non- monetary issues. After several rounds of mediation, the employer has failed to agree to key issues affecting Swissport workers.

In applying for conciliation, IAMAW hopes the employer will come back to the table with an improved mandate to reach a tentative agreement for our members.

The parties are scheduled to meet again November  6,7,8,9 2018 and November 13,15,16, 2018 We will continue to keep you updated of any developments in the process.
