SHOP STEWARD – NOMINATIONS/ELECTIONS

A Shop Steward’s most important role is to enforce the Collective Agreement, deal with complaints and settle grievances.  However, a Union is more than grievances and a Shop Steward must be more than a grievance processor.  A Shop Steward must be an Organizer, an Educator, a Leader, a Communicator and a sounding board for the Membership.

The following members have been selected to be Shop Stewards, for a three (3) year, one (1) month term, commencing May 01, 2017 – May 31, 2020.

Basic Shop Steward Training will be scheduled in the near future for those who have not received training previously.
