NEGOTIATIONS – MEDIATION/ARBITRATION
Dear Sisters and Brothers:
Further to our notice of July 31, 2015, the Union and the Company with the assistance of counsel, met in Mediation/Arbitration on August 10, 2015 with Arbitrator Stan Lanyon.
Regrettably, the Arbitrator was unable to mediate the parties to any settlement and will be issuing a final binding determination with respect to the issues in dispute and the formation of the Collective Agreement, based upon the submissions of the parties.
We will continue to keep you informed of any developments in the process and will advise the Membership immediately once we receive the Arbitrator’s award.
