RATIFICATION RESULT
Dear Brothers and Sisters:
Please be advised, the Tentative Agreement was rejected by a margin of 62%.
The Union will notify the Company of the result.
We will be filing a Notice of Dispute with the Director General of Federal Mediation and Conciliation Services for the appointment of a Conciliation Officer in accordance with the Canada Labour Code, Part 1, Div. 5, Section 71.
The present Collective Agreement remains in full force and effect until the matter is resolved.
We will continue to keep you informed of any developments in the process.
