G4S – PREBOARD SCREENING PERSONNEL LOCAL LODGE 16 – PACIFIC REGION – NEGOTIATIONS UPDATE – DECEMBER 8 2014

Dear Brothers and Sisters:

Your elected Negotiations Committee from throughout the Region met in Vancouver the week of November 17 – 21, 2014 to finalize our Bargaining Agenda and preparations for Collective Bargaining with G4S.

Formal Notice to Bargain was served upon the Company on December 8, 2014 in accordance with the provisions of Clause 27.02, to commence negotiations for the renewal of the Collective Agreement.

We expect to confirm meeting dates shortly with the Company for January 2015.

In the Membership Bargaining Survey, Members indicated that their most preferred method of communication from the Negotiations Committee is through email. The Committee Communicator, Bro. John Vincent is building a group email account in order to provide the Membership with timely accurate updates from the Committee.
