Today, IAM Local 16 filed a Labour Board Complaint against Aeroguard. We did this because the company is violating your Collective Agreement. We have filed under Section 97 of the Canada Labour Code for violating Section 94(1)(a).
The company intends to alter your shifts without your approval.
Your Shop Committee is very frustrated.
We had no alternative but to file this complaint after discussing the issue with the company for two weeks. The company did not appear to want to resolve the issues. We are waiting for the Labour Board to take action and will keep you posted of any developments.
