Sick Accrual Statements

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Further to the Union’s Bulletin of April 26, 2013 the sick hour reconciliation
statements are now available at the company office.
Sick hours are now reflected as hours on your pay statement and will be paid at

All members in accordance with Article 21.03 as of April 1, 2012 will accrue
eight (8) sick days per year. For the purpose of Article 21.03 a day is 8 hours.
Previously the sick hour accrual was being incorrectly calculated by the company
and members were accruing based upon hours worked.
Each pay statement every member regardless of whether you work more or less
than 4O hours per week will receive the same fixed amount.
