VDLC delegates voted to endorse the #Vote16BC campaign to extend voting rights to sixteen and seventeen year olds.<\/div>\n

As the #Vote16BC petition says, sixteen and seventeen years olds are involved and participating in politics in many ways, but are unable to cast their vote. Many countries around the world, such as Scotland and Austria, have lowered their voting age to 16.<\/div>\n
