We Need EI Reform Now<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yesterday the government tabled a fiscal update that shows us how much the pandemic has cost.<\/p>\n

Some people are already jumping on this fiscal update as a reason to cut spending and cut back supports. But if we cut support to people now, our economy may never recover.<\/p>\n

We cannot turn our back on each other now.<\/p>\n

After all, this crisis is not over; we need to keep investing in Canada.<\/p>\n

Send a letter to your MP and let’s get the message out. Canadians need to stick together to get through this pandemic.<\/a><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Canada Emergency Response Benefit is winding down at the end of August. Still, millions of Canadians don’t have jobs to go back to.<\/p>\n

We need to make sure the Employment Insurance (EI) system is ready so that no one falls through the cracks.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Use our simple tool to send a letter to your MP right now. Ask them to ensure EI is there to protect those hit hardest by this crisis.<\/p>\n
