Tell the banks \u2013 enough is enough!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

This week, I sent a letter to the heads of the country\u2019s main banks and credit card companies.<\/p>\n

I didn\u2019t waste words.\u00a0 I told them they have a responsibility to bring down sky-high credit card interest rates \u2013 now.<\/p>\n

And I know I\u2019m not the only one who feels strongly about this. Please write to them now and tell them, enough is enough.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re in a global health crisis. Banks shouldn\u2019t make profits off of our hardships.<\/p>\n

This pandemic is making it hard to pay our bills and to take care of our loved ones.\u00a0 More and more people will rely on their credit cards to get them through this. Why should they pay high interest rates?<\/p>\n

After all, the Bank of Canada brought down its lending rate. So why aren\u2019t the big banks and credit card companies passing on those savings to those who need it?<\/p>\n

They should.<\/p>\n

Write to them now and let\u2019s bring pressure on these folks to do the right thing.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re in a crisis and we\u2019re all in it together.<\/p>\n
