NOMINATION NOTICE \u2013 LOCAL LODGE 16<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nominations<\/strong> will be open until January 7th<\/sup><\/strong>..<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(2)  Candidates for the Securiguard Security Personnel Unit (Perimeter) Negotiations Committee<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Nomination forms may<\/strong> be emailed to eboard@iamaw16.ca<\/a>, dropped off atour YVR office: Suite 4212 Level 4 Domestic<\/strong> or handed to your Chief Steward No Later<\/strong> than 3:00 pm onJanuary 7th.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Both the NOMINEE<\/strong>and NOMINATOR<\/strong> must be \u201cMembers in Good Standing\u201d<\/strong> of the LocalLodge for the nomination to be accepted. Nominees must be a \u201cmember in good standing\u201d for at least one (1) year at the time of nomination for the nomination to be accepted and have attendedat least fifty percent (50%) of the regular Local Lodge monthly meetings in the preceding twelve (12) months of their nomination, pursuant to Article 2,Section H and I of the Local Lodge Bylaws. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

IAMAW\nCONSTITUTION \u2013 ARTICLE II \u2013 SECTION 3 \u2013 ABSENTEE BALLOTS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Members who reside in outlying Districts more than 25 miles from the designated balloting place, members who are either confined because of a verified illness or on leave qualifying under U.S. and Canadian family leave laws, or on vacation, or on official I.A.M. business approved by the Local Lodge or District Lodge or Grand Lodge, or on an employer travel assignment, or reserve military leave, as the case may be, shall be furnished absentee ballots. Members applying for an absentee ballot on the basisof residing in an outlying district more than 25 miles from the designatedballoting place, shall have their eligibility to vote by absentee ballot determined by the Recording Secretary and the Secretary Treasurer before the ballot is mailed. Members found not to be eligible to vote by absentee ballot will be so notified within 10 days of the receipt of their application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please fill out the attached Absentee Ballot Request Form and mail by Canada Post or hand delivered (Faxes not accepted) tothe Recording Secretary of Local Lodge 16 no later than December 31st 2018<\/strong>.  More forms may be obtained from the Local Lodge offices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
