The Company presented their \u201cbest offer\u201d to your Negotiations Committee on Friday, November 2, 2018. The Company\u2019s \u201cbest offer\u201d continues to include several significant concessionary elements, impacting upon scheduling, overtime, shift trade\/shift give away policy, vacation selection, statutory holiday eligibility, health &amp; welfare benefit reductions and eligibility criteria, changes to COLA\/VRSC eligibility thresholds, and term\/wages. These concessionary elements of the Company\u2019s comprehensive proposal are not acceptable.<\/p>\n<p>Additional Mediation dates have been scheduled for November 15 &amp; 16, 2018, where we will present our \u201cbest offer,\u201d which your Negotiations Committee would be prepared to recommend to the Membership for ratification.<\/p>\n<p>We are extremely disappointed with the lack of progress in Collective Bargaining. We want to provide you with a tentative agreement that recognizes your contributions and rewards your hard work and commitment.<\/p>\n<p>Your Negotiations Committee has been and will continue to fight to improve upon and protect provisions of the Collective Agreement that are of critical importance to our Members.<\/p>\n<p>We will continue to keep you apprised of any developments in the process.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for your patience and support.
