BC’s minimum wage is the lowest in Canada and that is no joke.<\/p>\n

Christy Clark’s Liberal Government has made the foolish choice to leave workers in poverty.<\/p>\n

Poverty isn’t a laughing matter.<\/p>\n

It is time for the Premier to get serious and raise BC’s minimum wage to $15\/hr.<\/p>\n

We need to send a strong message to Premier Clark \u2013 Friday, April 15th<\/span><\/sup>\u00a0is a HUGE day for our campaign.<\/p>\n

It is Canada\u2019s first official\u00a0Fight for $15 National Day of Action<\/strong>, and BC is leading the way! We are joining with campaigns right across Canada in the fight for fair wages.<\/p>\n

The rally will take place at Canada Place in Vancouver on Friday, April 15th<\/span><\/sup>\u00a0at 5:00 pm. There will be music, performers, and speeches to help us send a message to Christy Clark and the BC Liberal Government that low pay is not okay!<\/p>\n

We need you to bring your colleagues, friends, and family to this critical rally.\u00a0Let’s ensure our voices are heard.<\/p>\n
