2016 ANNUAL CONVENTION<\/strong><\/span>
\nCALGARY, OCTOBER 18-19-20, 2016<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

Dear Brothers and Sisters:
\nPlease be advised that Transportation District 140 will hold its 2016 Annual Convention
\nduring the month of October, at the following location:<\/p>\n

THE BANFF CENTRE, CONFERENCE OFFICE.<\/strong>
\n107 Tunnel Mountain Drive<\/strong>
\nBanff, Alberta, Canada T1L 1H5<\/strong><\/p>\n

The purpose of this Bulletin is to remind the Local Lodges of the dates for nomination
\nand election of Delegates, as set out in DL140 Bylaws.<\/p>\n

Article IV \u2013 Conventions of District Lodge 140 Bylaws states:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

4.03<\/strong> Local Lodges under the jurisdiction of the District will call for Delegate
\nnominations in February 2016<\/strong><\/span> and elections in April 2016.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

4.04<\/strong> Elected Local Lodge Delegates shall have their credentials submitted to the
\nDistrict Secretary-Treasurer by the Local Lodge before July 15, 2016.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Please ensure that your Local complies with the process and dates stated above.<\/p>\n

The dates of the Convention and hotel information will be forwarded once confirmed.<\/p>\n

I encourage all Locals to participate in the democratic operation of this District and send
\nDelegates to this Convention. Feel free to contact the undersigned should you require
\nany further information on this matter.<\/p>\n

4.03<\/strong> Les sections locales relevant de la comp\u00e9tence du district sollicitent les mises en<\/span><\/strong>
\n candidature des d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9s en f\u00e9vrier 2016<\/span> <\/strong>et tiennent leurs \u00e9lections en avril 2016.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

4.04<\/strong> Les d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9s \u00e9lus de chaque section locale doivent soumettre leur lettre de cr\u00e9ance
\nau secr\u00e9taire-tr\u00e9sorier du district avant le 15 juillet 2016.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Veuillez vous assurer que votre section locale respecte ce processus et les dates indiqu\u00e9es.<\/p>\n

Nous vous communiquerons les dates du congr\u00e8s, ainsi que les informations sur l\u2019h\u00f4tel choisi aussit\u00f4t qu\u2019elles auront \u00e9t\u00e9 confirm\u00e9es.<\/p>\n
