Somewhat unexpectedly, Senator Bellemare (C &#8211; Quebec) raised a point of order on several items including the need for a royal recommendation (as any bill that incurs costs requires) and some issues with regard to the true nature of the bill (Labour rights vs. Income tax).<\/p>\n<p>Opposition Senators supported her request for a Speaker&#8217;s ruling and the speaker adjourned debate on the bill while he looks into the issues. De mani\u00e8re inattendue, la s\u00e9natrice Bellemare (C &#8211; Qu\u00e9bec) a soulev\u00e9 un point d&#8217;ordre sur plusieurs points, y compris la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d&#8217;une recommandation royale (comme pour tout projet de loi qui engage des co\u00fbts) et diff\u00e9rentes questions quant \u00e0 la v\u00e9ritable nature du projet de loi (droits du travail vs . imp\u00f4t sur le revenu).<\/p>\n<p>Les s\u00e9nateurs et s\u00e9natrices de l&#8217;opposition ont appuy\u00e9 sa demande d\u2019une d\u00e9cision du pr\u00e9sident. Le pr\u00e9sident a ajourn\u00e9 le d\u00e9bat le temps d\u2019examiner ces questions.
