Dear Sisters and Brothers:<\/p>\n

Direct bargaining sessions were held with G4S in Vancouver, March 9 \u2013 11, 2015.\u00a0 Tentative agreements were reached on several nonmonetary issues and the parties engaged in discussion regarding scheduling matters.<\/p>\n

We will resume direct bargaining with G4S on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 through to April 24, 2015 and will continue to keep you informed as the process evolves, providing an update following our April session.\"imagesCA2ZV157\"<\/a><\/p>\n

During collective bargaining, certain people (both unionized and nonunionized) may attempt to take advantage and spread rumors in the workplace to harm the process or serve a personal agenda, creating division amongst the membership and undermining our success at the bargaining table.\u00a0 Your Committee is working hard on your behalf. Your continued support and patience is appreciated during this process.<\/p>\n

We want to remind everyone that the present Collective Agreement remains in full force and effect, while the parties continue to bargain in good faith towards the renewal of the Agreement.<\/p>\n

In the Membership Bargaining Survey, Members indicated that their most preferred method of communication from the Negotiations Committee, is through email.\u00a0 The Committee Communicator, John Vincent is building a group email account in order to provide the membership with timely accurate updates from the Committee.\u00a0 If you wish to receive these updates, please provide your email address to jvincent@iamaw16.ca<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n
