TO ALL LOCALS OF DISTRICT LODGE 140 <\/span><\/span>2015 ANNUAL CONVENTION – MONTREAL OCTOBER 2015<\/span> <\/span><\/strong>_________________________________________________________________________________________________________ <\/span><\/b>Dear Brothers and Sisters: Please be advised that Transportation District 140 will hold its 2015 Annual Convention during the month of October, in the Montreal area. Exact dates and locations are still to be determined. The purpose of this Bulletin is to remind the Local Lodges of the dates for nomination and election of Delegates, as set out in DL140 Bylaws. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Article IV \u2013 Conventions <\/span><\/b><\/span>of District Lodge 140 Bylaws states: <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

4.03 <\/b><\/span>Local Lodges under the jurisdiction of the District will call for Delegate <\/span><\/span>nominations in February <\/span><\/b>and <\/span><\/span>elections in April<\/span><\/b>. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

4.04 <\/b><\/span>Elected Local Lodge Delegates shall have their credentials submitted to the District Secretary-Treasurer by the Local Lodge <\/span><\/span>on or before July 15<\/span><\/b>. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Please ensure that your Local complies with the process and dates stated above. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The dates of the Convention and hotel information will be forwarded once confirmed. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I encourage all Locals to participate in the democratic operation of this District and send Delegates to this Convention. Feel free to contact the undersigned should you require any further information on this matter.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Nous vous informons par la pr\u00e9sente que le district des transports 140 tiendra son congr\u00e8s annuel 2015 en octobre dans la r\u00e9gion de Montr\u00e9al. Les dates exactes et l\u2019endroit restent \u00e0 d\u00e9terminer. Ce bulletin a pour but de rappeler aux sections locales les dates de mise en candidature et d\u2019\u00e9lection des d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9s, tel que pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 dans les articles suivants des r\u00e8glements du district 140 :<\/span><\/span><\/h1>\n

4.03 <\/b><\/span>Les sections locales relevant de la comp\u00e9tence du district sollicitent les <\/span><\/span>mises en candidature des d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9s en f\u00e9vrier <\/span><\/b>et tiennent leurs <\/span><\/span>\u00e9lections en avril<\/span><\/b>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

4.04 <\/b><\/span>Les sections locales repr\u00e9sentant les d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9s de section locale \u00e9lus soumettent les lettres de cr\u00e9ance desdits d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9s au secr\u00e9taire-tr\u00e9sorier du district <\/span><\/span>le ou avant le 15 juillet<\/span><\/b>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Veuillez vous assurer que votre section locale respecte ce processus et les dates indiqu\u00e9es. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Nous vous communiquerons les dates du congr\u00e8s et vous transmettrons de l\u2019information sur l\u2019h\u00f4tel choisi aussit\u00f4t qu\u2019ils auront \u00e9t\u00e9 confirm\u00e9s. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
