2014 ANNUAL CONVENTION – TORONTO<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n

OCTOBER 2014<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Dear Brothers and Sisters:<\/p>\n

Please be advised that Transportation District 140 will hold its 2014 Annual Convention during the month of October, in the Toronto area. Exact dates and locations are still to be determined. The purpose of this Bulletin is to remind the Local Lodges of the dates for nomination and election of Delegates, as set out in DL140 Bylaws.<\/p>\n

\"imagesCA73S5IP\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Article IV \u2013 Conventions<\/strong><\/span> of District Lodge 140 Bylaws states:<\/span><\/p>\n

4.03<\/strong> Local Lodges under the jurisdiction of the District will call for Delegate <\/span>nominations in February<\/strong> <\/span>and <\/span>elections in April<\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

4.04<\/strong> Elected Local Lodge Delegates shall have their credentials submitted to the <\/span>District Secretary-Treasurer by the Local Lodge on or before July 15<\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Please ensure that your Local complies with the process and dates stated above.<\/p>\n

The dates of the Convention and hotel information will be forwarded early in the New Year.<\/p>\n

I encourage all Locals to participate in the democratic operation of this District and send Delegates to this Convention. Feel free to contact the undersigned should you require any further information on this matter.<\/p>\n
