VOLUNTEERING IN 2013<\/strong>
\nFree political action courses offered by the B.C. Federation of Labour<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are a lot of changes happening in BC’s political world right now.<\/p>\n

Are you concerned about what the BC Liberals have done to our province? Are you ready for a better\u00a0government? Are you ready to get involved? lf so, these one-day sessions are perfect for you.<\/p>\n

Come out and meet others who want to talk politics. Brush up on issues like: the economy, workers’\u00a0rights, seniors’ issues and health care. Learn how to discuss these issues with co-workers and how we\u00a0can work together in the pre-election period.<\/p>\n

The BCFED is offering two courses which have been designed to help you understand what a\u00a0campaign looks like. As well, you will learn ways to discuss our stories with co-workers, family\u00a0members and your neighbours. You’ll leave the workshops with fact sheets on labours’ key issues,\u00a0new friends in the community and the motivation and skills you need to be part of the 2013 election\u00a0campaign – We vote for a better BC.
