The competition is open to members of the IAM with<strong>\u00a0two years continuous service<\/strong>\u00a0and their children that are<strong>\u00a0current high school seniors<\/strong>\u00a0throughout the United States and Canada.<span id=\"more-116372\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Interested parties can find a link to the online applications, rules, and general information on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/scholarship.goiam.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>IAM Scholarship Competition<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0page.<\/p>\n<p>Out of the 300+ applicants in 2024, the IAM\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.goiam.org\/news\/departments\/hq\/scholarships\/2024-iam-scholarship-winners\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>awarded 16 scholarships<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0valued at $4,000 per student\u00a0 to members and their children.\u00a0 The IAM has a vocational-technical two-year scholarship for members and their children which is also included in the scholarship awards.<\/p>\n<p>The IAM Scholarship Fund, used exclusively to make these awards possible, was established by the 1960 IAM Grand Lodge Convention delegates.<\/p>\n<p>You can learn more and apply online at the IAM Scholarship\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/scholarship.goiam.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>website<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 2025 IAM Scholarship Competition\u00a0will be accepting applications until\u00a0Monday, Feb. 3 at 11:59 p.m. ET.\u00a0Entries are accepted online.
