Building a #BetterBC
Working for you - our platform

British Columbia has reached a fork in the road. Election 2020 is about which path you want to take – and who is best to lead us through the pandemic. This week, we launched our platform, to let you know just what you can expect from a BC NDP government as the province recovers.

Our plan builds on the progress we’ve made fixing 16 years of BC Liberal neglect and mismanagement. With your support, we can continue to move BC forward – investing in people and delivering the programs and services that will keep us healthy and safe.

87 candidates - it's official
British Columbia is a diverse province. And everybody deserves to see themselves represented in BC’s legislature.

Our full slate of 87 candidates represents the diversity of our province, and includes the highest number of women ever to run for a party in BC.

John Horgan’s team is ready to represent all the people of this province. So, let’s get re-elected and keep BC moving forward – for everyone!

Get ready for the leaders' debate
Our Election 2020 platform represents John Horgan’s commitment to you. It’s a plan and a pledge that John is only too ready to stand beside and defend.

John will be doing just that when he takes part in a party leaders’ debate, which will be broadcast live on television this Tuesday, October 13 at 6:30pm.

This is your chance to hear John outline the BC NDP’s plan in his own words – and hold BC Liberal leader Andrew Wilkinson to account. Be sure to tune in!

Vote early
This election, there are more ways to vote than ever before – including extra days for advance voting. Voting early is the best way to help elect a BC NDP government.

Advance voting opens in just FIVE days. Polls are open from Thursday, October 15 to Wednesday, October 21.

Visit the Elections BC website today to find out when and where you can vote early – and get the most up-to-date voting information available.

Let's make contraception free
Birth control is healthcare – it should be accessible to everyone, not just those who can afford it. That’s why a BC NDP government will make all forms of prescription contraception free.

Contraception is a right, not a luxury. It’s time to make birth control free for everyone. Add your name if you support our plan.
