G4S – PRE-BOARD SCREENING PERSONNEL LOCAL LODGE 16 – PACIFIC REGION REDUCTION IN FORCE – POINT LEADERS – UPDATE

Dear Brothers and Sisters:
Further to our Bulletins of September 6 & 17, October 4 and November 14,
2012, we continue to await a Step 3 grievance response from G4S.
The Company responded on December 4, 2012, to our Bad Faith Bargaining
Complaint which was filed by Counsel on behalf of the Union on November
13, 2012 with the Canadian Industrial Relations Board. The Union is now
working with Counsel on our reply which is due by Friday, December 14,
2012.

The IAM & AW will continue to work with Counsel in response to the
Company’s actions to pursue resolution, through grievance arbitration, the
Canadian Industrial Relations Board and any other means available to the
IAM & AW.
We will advise the Membership of any developments or instruction from the
CIRB in the above proceedings as soon as the information becomes
available.
