Let’s build BC back better

Building a #BetterBC
A pay boost for frontline workers

Healthcare and social service workers have been on the frontline of COVID-19, providing essential services to some of the most vulnerable people in BC. We simply can’t thank them enough. But our BC NDP government is doing what it can, by giving them a pay boost.

As part of a partnership with the federal government, over a quarter million workers will get this temporary pandemic pay. They will receive the payment directly through their employers and do not need to apply.

Get trained to campaign

Want to get involved with the BC NDP and help our government keep building on their progress? Then register for Level Up, our online training conference, with sessions running from June 9-24.

You’ll learn about building campaigns that win elections, and discover new strategies for organizing, fundraising, and communicating. Sign up for a full course or pick and choose sessions that fit your schedule.

Help fight racism during COVID-19

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis, there have been reports of increased racist behaviour in BC. Premier John Horgan and his team are united in the belief that these aggressive acts have no place in BC and must not be tolerated.

As Anne Kang, Minister of Citizens’ Services says: “Our communities get stronger when we treat each other as we want to be treated. We must speak up when we witness racism.” To spread awareness, please share this on Facebook.
