Dear Brothers and Sisters:

The parties met at Federal Mediation and Conciliation Services on April 20 & 23, 2018 with the assistance of Mediation & Conciliation Officer, John Rooney, in an effort to mediate the resolution of twenty-three (23) grievances dealing with a variety of issues, including, discipline, performance of Bargaining Unit work, and scheduling matters. No grievances were resolved.

We met in Direct Bargaining April 18, 19, 24 – 27, 2018 and again on May 17, 2018.
Discussions continued on non-monetary items involving representation rights and structure, discipline, grievance and arbitration procedures, seniority, probation, leaves of absence, payroll discrepancies, vacation selection/bidding, absenteeism concerns and scheduling matters.

The parties are scheduled to meet again May 30 – June 1, 2018 and we will continue to keep you apprised of any developments in the process.

Thank you for your patience and support. Remember to always work safe.
