Dear Sisters and Brothers,
We’ve been hearing that Members think Ron Fontaine is still with the Local. This is not true! Ron Fontaine has been reassigned to other duties. He is no longer involved with our Local. He will not be returning. Tania Canniff and the Local Executive are managing our affairs and are taking steps to bring the Local from a state of trusteeship to Self-Governance.
I want to make it very clear:
Ron Fontaine is not with Local 16 anymore!
Now we ALL know (and please don’t listen to anyone else – they’re not working for you!).
